Harry Potter’s Butterbeer

Butterbeer from Harry Potter
Sit down, stay a spell at the Leaky Cauldron


  • 4 cups cream soda
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 ounces butterscotch schnapps
  • Whipped cream
  • cinnamon and/or nutmeg (optional)


  1. Place cream soda in a medium saucepan and heat to a light boil.
  2. Add the butter to the saucepan and stir until it is melted.
  3. Pour into 4 cups and top with a shot of schnapps.
  4. Stir and top with whipped cream and cinnamon and/or nutmeg, if using.
